0·4 months agoIn case you want to be pissed off, the reason why iPhone mini didn’t sell is because when someone is conditioned to buy an iPhone, it is more profitable for sellers to literally lie about not having the cheapest option. More people will choose to buy an expensive phone, offsetting buyers who walk out because the mini isn’t being sold. Monopolies suck, and people who support them also suck.
What Motorola did you get?

The core issue is none of my hobbies exist on Lemmy. I tried really hard to populate those instances but there were just 3 (three) people engaging in discussions. What even is the point?
No, I literally cannot muster the willpower to switch.
That is actually an advantage. Centralized platforms are able to achieve larger audiences, increasing the chance that I will be able to find content I actually care about.
90% of the reason I even have discord is because people much smarter than me use it to share information. Nobody uses other areas suited for sharing information anymore. It’s either Reddit or discord.

No test prepared me for black ice. Sure they tell you to be careful when temps drop but how much slower should you go? I guessed wrong and crashed. There are too many conditions that you just never get to experience where one misjudgement has dire consequences.
What fucks me up is hearing about experienced drivers crashing in similar ways, so you’re never really going to figure out everything, especially during snowy seasons, you just have to hope that whatever you do is correct and risk your life.
