When’s Google gonna put Gemini on the Google Home/Nest devices? I’d switch to 'em if they end up getting Gemini on them, the amount of times I ask my Echo Dot a simple question that it can’t answer but Gemini can is ridiculous.

I used to see people do this here and there but they got bored after a few months because nobody watched the content. If you could get a bot to do this, I could see this being a longer term project, but if it gets big enough some folks might object as well.

I like AP News a lil better than Reuters. Axios and NBC News ain’t bad either if you’re okay with using sites that skew a lil farther to the left.

I’ve got a MASSIVE fricking OPML file I grab my news from and punch into various apps and sites like Feedly. I grab basically as many feeds as I can, except those that typically paywall their sites (like WaPo, NYT and WSJ)

I wanna say there’s Hilarious Chaos which is right wing and a lil more normie. This instance is pretty good too.

I’ve come across him before, I think he moderates a right wing Lemmy community I’m a member of.

It’s the first one I always see whenever I look up lists of Fediverse alternatives and I always end up on the site. I use fedidb.org but I don’t use it to find Fediverse software.
