@positiveWHAT @brezel That’s really tricky because then you have more Russia.
Me on the fediverse, a bit stuck in life but opinionated about a lot. Rumours from my many therapists state that I’m struggling with being to smart to be good at meaningless social interactions. I’m not sure about that., seem to be pretty damn good in meaningless social media interactions. Trying to be more Pusheen and less Zarathustra. ☮

@neme Which mean nothing because they are registered in a dictatorship where judges get arrested.
@jgjl @schizoidman He’s Irish and probably very pissed about the US international politics ( Gaza ) this might just be a strong political signal but they are possibly also cheaper which is important for a budget airline.

@misk #Zelenski felt wat the rest of Europe has been facing for decades and why we turned towards Russia for energy, extortion repackaged as protection. #Ukraine has to make a full u-turn towards Europe and cut ties with the the US and we’ll probably be there in no time. But of course our leaders don’t want to take a risk for a country that still seeks to be allied with a totalitarian regime in the process of declaring war upon the EU. If they sell out to to the US those minerals will be used to weaken the EU economy and take us back to a Berlin wall situation. Singing a deal with the current USA is a sure way for Ukraine to become a sovjet state again absurd as it is. I think Zelenski still is in in cognitive dissonance and believes the US will become a democracy again, a lot of Americans believe the same. But voting is fixed folks, even without Trump there will be a regime.
@muntedcrocodile Exactly why was all the effort done to separate logic and presentation and visual design if we are now back at embedding the logic in the presentation ? IDK I need to get used to that idea. Might be just old and tired…
@haui_lemmy Flomarket is more like a separate shops, you need a protocol, and gui’s that are easy to embed via EU made web frameworks like drupal. ( React to be avoided as it’s from meta ) That way you see the shop on the individual site but also can create aggregators that look like ebay or ammazon but are federated.
@haui_lemmy I had a mostly similar idea a few weeks ago but I’m a mess ( sleep issues ) so no coding for me. 😂
But yes, as I mentioned somewhere extending activitypub could be a start.
@JackbyDev @gamermanh still you indentify as Netscape Navigator for me. ( First browser )
@mesamunefire Nobody wronged it like me when I started. Blocked everything not Pop, Smpt, Ftp, Httpp, Shttp…to localhost. Darn…half the system connects to localhost…
@mesamunefire you wronged the pinguin ?

@ExFed Lol, I messaged 20+ connections to step over…nobody. We have a saying “what the farmer doesn’t know, the farmer doesn’t like” I fear signal has to be mentioned a thousand times from all directions before they “trust” it. The publics trust is based on repetition and the concept that a big firm has more to lose than an non profit.
@ExFed @jagged_circle you mean drivers for external devices ?
@moineau @gi1242 Until it’s over and their costly empires collapse, would not be the first who ends up broke. Fortune is not like rock, although they try to make it like that, they try to cement their throne … whel empires rise and kings fall. The fall usually starts with decadence and arrogance. He already bought his watch…and for the paradise pd fans “higher hair” 🤭
@Evil_Shrubbery @korendian I hope they perish, a truely evil corp. They ones ecperimented with making folks depressed because depressed people are more sensitive to impulse buying.
@mho @fediverse noice ! I was thinking about creating something similar, but it’s seems that I’m a bit to late. If we want to counter Meta and offer decent EU social media, agnostic broadcast protocols are a key element.
@Rin @BrainInABox I refer to the theory of supply and demand for that. Free market theory assumes the consumer has a choice and your dick might be in a location where supply is high or be just to substandard so possible consumers move over to other suppliers. Did you consider cold calling and offering a subscription ?
