But saying there was less LGBT boomers because it was more of a stigma isn’t an even dumber take? It’s at least an actual fact that all of the crap that’s been polluting up our bodies has messed with our hormones and such. The closet boomer theory is almost entirely conjecture.

yeah, so what? who says that this wouldn’t lead to less gay people?
remember “don’t ask, don’t tell?” that basically meant that officially, 0% of men in the military were gay. obviously there were way more than 0% gays in the military. i don’t think it is a “dumb take” to say there weren’t necessarily less gays back then, because we know for a fact that there were way more gays than what was reflected in stastistics.
It’s hilarious that gay people can’t accept that there’s a reason they might be gay, and that it isn’t simply “because”. Like, I don’t get why there’s a fight against there being a reason they’re gay. Like for some reason you can’t entertain the possibility that you’re gay due to other factors.
There’s a black hole sized gulf between “perhaps there is a reason for homosexuality” and “homosexuality is caused by Teflon and micro plastics”
If you aren’t going to even attempt to point at something that even comes close to backing up your claim then you’re going to be very disappointed with the amount of people who take you seriously.

i am certain that there are studies on this, too.
