I really do think that there are simply so many more nvidia users that it seems like the issues are more prevalent than they are. Most people use an nvidia card and I would venture to guess this is still true for a majority of linux users.

Ad companies are often payed on “impressions” which bots that click on a link can count as. Or they are payed upfront for a ad campaign in both of those cases the incentive is to make it seem like as many people are clicking the link as possible.

Thats really unfortunate. Hardware support on linux is really hit or miss and until it is seen as a worth while investment to make sure that products work well on linux by the manufacturers it will remain that way but I can not fault anyone for going back to windows when things on their system just will not work.
