1·2 days agoCinnamon on mint has an option to log in using Wayland.
Where you type your login/password (mint uses light-dm as the login window) there is a small icon/avatar to the right. Clicking that gives the DE options:
- Cinnamon
- Cinnamon 2D
- Cinnamon Wayland (experimental)
Since pop is Ubuntu based you could try the Ubuntu ppa (there are other nvidia tips here, too)

Not op, but: The citizens aren’t all or always a reflection of government actions.
Trauma, real or perceived, can cause irrational behavior and beliefs.
Propaganda and methods of behavior control and modification are powerful. Fear of speaking out in a culture of vengeance.
Bibi et al are pure evil. That’s certain. IDF: evil. Some citizens: evil.
Some citizens: not evil
That said, the current state of Israeli governance no longer has any validity in any of its words or actions. It must be boycotted, embargoed, sanctioned, and dismantled.
Its leadership must face the judgment of their god for the abominations committed.
After they are judged at the Hague.
If the link opens in a new tab you wouldn’t be able to.
Sometimes links redirect and open a new tab while the original loads something it shouldn’t. With an extension like ublock it will sometimes automatically prevent the unwanted page from loading and close it quickly leaving you with the new tab but no history.
It could also be a no history/private tab setting.
Just because you feel you may have nothing to hide now, doesnt mean that information could be very worth hiding in the future.
Governments change.
Laws change.
Dictators, autocrats, police states, abhors dissent. Free thought and peace of mind is what you’re protecting.
