I’m not sure how it’s gonna “rewrite history” beside the history of that place. Continous habitation from neolithic to iron ages isn’t even unprecedented, hell there are places that are inhabited continously from neolithit to today, like Damascus. Not even the article offers explanation for that sensationalist headline.
