Religions are FULL of hypocrites. Think twice about dedicating your life to a bunch of people that DO NOT believe what you believe. Even if they say that they do.
The book doesn’t say gay sex is wrong. It says you shouldn’t lay with a man like you do with a woman. But it also says that men are supposed to lead and dominate women because women are property. So it’s really just advising that your gay sex needs to be soft and sensual and full of respect as equals.
