Beyond Linux from scratch

What people don’t always remember about FOSS is they are just making it for themselves they are users as well as devs. The great thing about FOSS is if someone else happens to use it that’s great and maybe they will contribute to something they use.

Yeah the amount of heat a data center vs a satellite your going to super heat the space in that orbit over time. It they are geostationary then its even harder as the the data center doesn’t move away from the heat.

My question is always how the hell are you going to cool them. Do you know hard it is to move heat in a vacuum?

Yeah that would be ideal but you know manufacturers they want a company attached to it just like how Linux distros are right there but it took steam deck for them to show interest.

At this point steamos/linux ported to phones and waydroid for a compatibility layer is our only hope

Its like going physical you get both with the right ripper

I agree vibe code is just a spam problem like in email. We still use email even though spam email exists its all about getting better at filtering it out. Building a web of trust, better scanning tools, and stuff like that.

POSIX would make more sense as its the collection of standards as that would encompass BSDs as well. Since you can run Linux compatible software with neither GNU utils nor Linux.
Its more you are at the cutting edge where the general public will be in a few years. The only time I don’t see that happening is when I think of the tildeverse as that is more an offshoot than a evolution of the tech landscape.

Irc solved this by having list servers domains that give a list of irc servers so instead of having random servers that go down you have a network of distributed servers that work together.

https://tildeverse.org/ is the directory for them all

Also check out the tildeverse for a true internet experience. Its our little hideaway from bigtech. Where you can truly connect with people.

Its 2013 all over again
Then what makes Debian its only a month younger than Slackware?

Enterprises season three is like the next generation season 1 it’s okay to skip

you can also mount it to a directory just like in POSIX systems
I think you misspelled Scam Altman’s name
