If you want to roll your own with keepass that’s fine, but most people will want a more comprehensive solution.
Betting markets don’t really have any predictive value. It’s all vibes.
Randomness is often desirable in party games because otherwise it’s usually a small number of people who are competitive and the rest are bored/quit.
Frankly I’m mostly annoyed that my browser allows web sites to block cut and paste, ever. I am capable of making my own decisions over whether I want to cut and paste.
There are plugins that will disallow this. I think the one I use is “don’t fuck with paste”
But there is no public debate commission, and no public funding going to these debates. It’s two campaigns making a deal with a private TV network to show them on TV arguing with each other. Should there be a public debate commission? And if there were, would it be appropriate to feature more candidates? Maybe! But as is, the only real issue is that the vast majority of the public does not care about these candidates.
The debate is literally an agreement between Donald trump and kamala Harris. There is no neutral debate commission involved. This doesn’t really make sense.
Those candidates are free to have their own debate if they think they can convince someone to put them on TV.
Edit: Also is Jill Stein a “moderate”?
“Unpaid work” is pretty much all OSS development. “Here’s a thing I made, anyone can use it for whatever they want as long as they give credit” is a very simple philosophy. Not everybody who works on OSS is opposed to the existence of closed source commercial software, and rather a lot of people don’t like viral licenses like the GPL. Really out of line to call people who contribute their time and effort to making free software available to everyone losers just because you disagree with their choice of license.
This seems like complaining that the BSD license does exactly what it intends to do.
Mounds/Almond Joy. Yuck. Always threw those out as a kid (well OK probably gave them to my mother).
