Oof. People can’t even post memes about things that frustrate them now? A lot of trans memes are about shit like this, if we removed all those there’d barely be any left.

I found 20.0 on the first page of DDG but go off…
The only ones I liked other than OKCupid (which is owned by Match) are Scruff and Hornet. But they’re mostly only for men who like men and are hookup-focused, so not really suitable for dating, necessarily.
Houdini FX has a Linux version, you’d just have to find a copy of it for Linux.
Maybe Linux Lite? It’s based on Ubuntu LTS and the default DE is XFCE but you could replace it with LXDE or whatever you want.
Is there any reason you want a self-hosted service for this rather than making an account with TMDB or TVDB? Trakt fetches all of its metadata from those 2 sites (it prioritizes TMDB).
Not that you shouldn’t self-host an alternative, but you don’t have to.
I have everything containerized (Podman) on my Debian PC and use Diun to check for updates and send notifications to a Discord server that I monitor. I do all of my updates manually so I don’t update unless I have time to troubleshoot; if it breaks I still have the configs and data so I can delete the container and start over.
I also do monthly backups to cold storage (yeah, they should be weekly/biweekly but it’s just personal data that I’m okay with losing). I don’t use a RAID config or BTFS/ZFS like some do, so it’s pretty easy to just set it and forget it. It really depends on what you’re trying to do, how bulletproof it needs to be, and how you like to organize things.
At least a few years. I switched to Linux a year ago and that was a huge consideration for me when choosing Debian over Ubuntu.
It may not have initially been chosen for its meaning, but on their website they do say this:
What Does “Kagi” Mean? The word “kagi” means “key” in Japanese.
You pronounce kagi in Japanese as ka-gi with a hard G. (Source: Wiktionary)
If it’s a Japanese romanization (which it looks like, but idk for sure), it’s almost certainly a hard G as in gator.
I used to, when I had fun neighbours my age that I made through an online Buy Nothing group. If you just start indulging in social groups related to your interests, you’re bound to meet people. It’s up to you if you want to socialize more with those people.
Unfortunately, no one will force you to hang out with them (except red flag weirdos), so a lot of the effort needs to come from you. If you get flaked on/deprioritized/ignored/ghosted more than once or twice, that’s the cue to move on and try someone else so you don’t get your hopes up.
FediOnFire was a simple, public-facing project designed to showcase a firehose of public statuses across the network.
For… showing public comments on a live feed? How nefarious. /s
Hm, while almost all of the pet subreddits I used to visit allowed grief posts (which is what I thought you were complaining about), none seemed to have a problem with people showcasing their pets’ corpses in photos.
Reddit’s moderation must have descended to total dogshit or maybe there’s one mod common to all these pet subreddits that’s just really weird.
