2·27 days agoWhen I last opened Firefox, I was greetet by this landing page where they introduce their new mascot and also link their Spreadshirt shop. I thought it’s cute (and I didn’t support Mozilla financially in a long long time) so I gave it a try

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you think about each Lemmy instance trying to be a Reddit alternative?
51·2 months agoYeah I think generally it would make more sense for individual instances to focus on specific topics, like programming.dev on programming or feddit.org for Europe.
It still makes sense to have the same communities in different languages if you ask me. There may also be other instances where this might actually be good.
But yeah, I don’t need ten different tech communities all serving the same purpose.

Apple@lemmy.world•iPhone 18 Said to Use Simpler Camera Control Button Design
1·2 months agoI initially thought the same. I finally upgraded my phone this year and since the new phones have the button I just tried it out and ended up really liking it. I would consider myself a photography enthusiast though, so I can see this is not for everyone. It just feels more like an actual camera. The position is still awkward, though

The A in AOSP literally stands for Android. AOSP is Android.
