well why is it good? why not just assume the boilerplate as the default and require the user to override it if they want to do something fancy?
it’s just busywork to always need to write the same stuff, and it also makes the code less readable and many people look at all that boilerplate and nope the fuck out.
This is why python is so good for getting people to realize that programming isn’t magic, you just write the equivalent of one short sentence and BAM text in the terminal, no need to import the basic ability to print text which is so incredibly inane.
what? you’re not magically allowed to take stuff for free just because you can’t pay for it lmao, if they don’t accept cash and you only have cash, you don’t get to buy things there.
are you just making things up?
basically the only places that reliably accept cash these days are grocery stores, what are you on about?
i love how people bend over backwards to justify the placement, and STILL the best you can come up with is “it’s not THAT bad”
there’s a thing you can add to a server to mirror everything to a proper indexable website: https://www.answeroverflow.com/
i genuinely don’t know what this is even supposed to mean
huh? no one’s asking them to fix firefox, we’re asking that they just ship the latest version.
the warning states that several vulnerabilities have been fixed since firefox version 130, f-droid’s latest version of the package is 129: that very much makes it sound like the problem is wholly caused by f-droid not making version 130 available.
that stupid huge amount of packages is honestly a pretty big UX issue, at least personally that just makes me chuckle at their optimism and close the page as every bit of energy i had vaporizes from the thought of figuring out what to download.
i will never stop wanting to commit severe crime every time i try to see what’s using the processor and every single fucking system monitor tool just says it’s xorg
YES THANK YOU VERY USEFUL GOOD
