Yo check out the Galaxy xcover 7. Rugged, large battery, expandable storage, headphone jack, no huge camera array, from a reputable korean company. Looking at upgrading to this phone myself although I can’t bear to let go of my Galaxy s10e

Careful apparently the founder (Rob Braxman) is a scam artist.

I’ll be honest I haven’t delved too deep into his music but his cover of Bulls on Parade goes hard

Denzel Curry maybe?
So your claim that they are still funded and influenced by the British government is completely unsubstantiated got it.
They are my primary news source. I think they are extremely trustworthy and overall pretty unbiased. I sense a sort of contempt towards Donald Trump that bleeds through even in their very dry reporting style. I appreciate how non-sensationalized their stories are.
Do you have any evidence they continue to be funded and directed by the British government? They were literally partnered with TASS until 2022…

Ok cool, I might give that a try!

The more I learn about Bazzite the cooler it seems, but I’m not in a position to switch away from windows right now. Anyone had experience with running it dual-boot?

That is very impressive! Although to be honest I question the accuracy of all those estimated power draws. I would be interested to see an endurance test of your battery- assuming your battery capacity is accurate, your runtime on a full charge should line up with your power draw.

Honestly I dont think this is going to be too effective without a corresponding crackdown on fake license plates. Shoplifting from home improvement stores is a big problem but the people I’ve seen walking out with thousands of dollars of tools in broad daylight just had an obviously fake paper tag.
I mean that’s of the ethenet capable ones… a huge chunk are still serial
Just my perspective as a controls (SCADA engineer):
I work for a large power company. We have close to 100 sites, each with hundreds of IP devices, and have never had a problem with ipv4. Especially when im out in the field I love being able to check IPs, calculate gateways, etc at a glance. Ipv6 is just completely freaking unreadable.
I see the value of outward-facing ipv6 devices (i.e. devices on the internet), considering we are out of ipv4s. But I don’t see why we have to convert private networks to ipv6. Put more bluntly: at least industry, it just isn’t gonna happen for decades (if it ever does). Unless you need more IPs it’s just worse to work with. And there’s a huge amount of inertia- got one singular device that doesn’t talk ipv4 at a given generation site? What are you supposed to do?

There’s no way there’s an entire spoon of plastic in my brain. I know that one study came to that conclusion but that study was wrong. Cmon people that’s insane.

I believe that is just because chewing gum increases salivation which helps keep bacteria in check

I mean you’re ALREADY giving them your name, photo, address, age, and a bunch of private romantic chats. If you trust Tinder enough for that I don’t see what difference a video of your face makes.

Nah no way does the average ewaste tier laptop use less power than a raspberry pi for any given task. The power consumption floor for a laptop may be lower than the rpi ceiling but that’s not a fair comparison

Not so sure about the last part. It takes ehhh about 3kg of c02 to produce 1 Watt for a year. Carbon footprint to build a laptop is about 200kg or so, but you’re not offsetting one of those you’re offsetting the raspberry PI you WOULD have bought which is just a small fraction of that. After a year or 2 you’ve almost certainly burned through your c02 savings if it’s on all the time.

You’re missing out, Facebook marketplace is THE place to buy local secondhand goods for dirt cheap without getting scammed. You do need an account but you don’t need to install anything, and the payments are not done through FB
That’s cool, but I’m sure it broke the relationship between ip addresses. Like it would be hard to tell if 1 IP was 1 higher or lower than another/ in the same /28 subnet, etc
