What is the use case or benefit for the server admin?
as a server admin I wouldn’t want to keep renewing my cert.
can anyone help to explain?
isn’t DNT enforced in the EU only? That is hardly “most” jurisdictions
But I also have no idea what all is possible with that kind of information in the aggregate
so does your mom and the general public. This idea and its impact is far too remote to people’s day to day life.
it may help to try coming out with a story or incident that they can relate to. then again most of the time these stories will sound like a conspiracy theory,
the idea of “do not track” is quite comical.
It assumes the other party to honour the request. It is as good as telling thieves not to open your door because you put up a “do not open”.
The “Do not track” signal also became an additional attribute used for fingerprinting users.
If rooted, it is possible to some extent. but it will likely still fail Strong integrity check (hardware based).
also GrapheneOS don’t recommend rooting.
i am using Reolink E1 Pro, set it up on my iot LAN (no internet), and connect it to home assistant.
“opensource compatible” - sort of, with onvif and rtmp*rtsp.
i suppose any camera with these two should work.
the initial setup requires the Reolink app tho, to enable onvif and rtmp
In agreement with tteck and Community-Scripts, this project has now transitioned into a community-driven effort. We aim to continue his work, building on the foundation he laid to support Proxmox users worldwide.
tteck, whose contribution has been invaluable, shared recently that he is now in hospice care. His scripts have empowered thousands, and we honor his legacy by carrying this project forward with the same passion and commitment. We’re deeply grateful for his vision, which made Proxmox accessible to so many.
To tteck: Your impact will be felt in this community for years to come. We thank you for everything.
