Ill usually get stuff done but I have to keep it simple. Either big catchup on mutliple things or one major thing acomplished. I always make sure to play some video games or watch shows so I don’t feel deprived. Commercials are great for catching up on small things.

I also agree that eugenicists exist.

Good to know word is still bleeding over since the api debacle. slashdot was the first thing which made me feel a bit like back in the newgroup days and reddit moreso but it just went down hill. The federation is the closest yet I have found to those lost years of command line internet.

Yeah and it was pretty much going once we hit the twenty teens but took awhile to notice. At this point its about slowing things down as much as possible.

um just mentioning you say initially killed and then peeled but as you progress it sounds like that is not the case.

The danger to me is its sorta impossible to lie without in some way believing it. The Costanza thing. It basically reduces your own ability to discern reality.

Part of this is only having as much animal as you can handle. My wife has medical issues and I have been pushing for smaller dogs as Im the one who has to pick them up in old age. Now im trying to get her to be ok with not having one after our current. Would do a cat but shes allergic. I don’t want us having pets that we are not giving a high enough quality of life to.

Dark at 18. Its the dark at 16 that really gets me. and it is the dark to. I thought it was the cold. in particular I bike less in the winter and I thought I was a wus but I actually find im fine biking in the afternoon. Its really the problem of I don’t like to bike in the dark.

I don’t see smartphones being better unless they are completely different. Since its basically iphone and an iphone mimic and its just the way the whole ecosystems are built. Like you can install a free smartphone os but you will not be able to do things with it at the same level as someone without one as far as corps and stuff.

Its just you hear it on the radio or when your at someplace or whatnot. happenstance. My condo had painters and I asked a guy what song he was playing when I walked by.

I don’t think I ever found music. the music tended to find me.

It drives me nuts how our economic system is making not having a cell phone increasingly difficult. Many necessary things won’t even work on a tablet. The smartphone is the most amazing futuristic device I dreamed about that has evolved into a distopian nightmare.
