You didn’t sent me, I wild-goosed myself — you were the lantern!
Old, large, cranky. Gotta go to the bathroom.
Also, that picture isn’t me.

Oh my golly — thank you. I spent more than two hours trying to find something that user had posted so’s I could access those three fabled dots. Sure hope you spent less time than that!
Ginormous thanks. :)
Comments removed, mods can click from the modlog to the comment. Bans, nope. Clickable links are only what’s blue and red — the mod, the user, and the community. Looks to be the same for any community, something I’ve just learned today. A bit frustrating, but … oh well.
That’s what I’d expect, but I’ve been to the page, while logged in, and there’s no such trail.
Worked for the one I could find, thanks. The other, I’d removed the comment, so it’s eternally in the void.
Thank you, kind stranger. :)
There’s no direct link from the modlog if someone’s banned, apparently. I was able to find one by googling to find the post. The second ban I’d like to reverse, I removed the comment, and thus it can’t be found.
If anyone has further ideas, I’m all ears like Spock.
Hope this is the place to ask a sorta specific question of the admins. If not, please tell me where to go. :)
I am considering launching a page for news about America’s loony Republicans, similar to the page I’m moderating about crooked cops.
It’ll only be news, but the sidebar will include my perfectly factual motto, “Republicans are the enemy of common sense, common decency, and democracy.”
My question is, would that violate the rule that mods must “Provide a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone regardless of … political affiliation”?
Whatever the answer, thank you for Lemmy.World. I’m having a blast here.
Right on, dude. It would be refreshing to see right-wing arguments advocating a serious fact-based (instead of hate-based and/or lie-based) position on any issue. I’d still disagree, but I’d welcome that disagreement.
Until that glorious future when “the right will reconnect with reality, integrity and simple decency,” I am delighted that they’re underrepresented on Lemmy.
