This was their stance 2 months ago:
I don’t think that would have changed if not for the backlash Microsoft has received for it.
Now, supposedly it’s optional and off by default, but that could change again anytime…
If you selfhost paperless-ngx, there are option to add email accounts and regularly import emails+their attachments like any other document. You can then have it delete imported mail from the mail server, or just move/mark it so you can deal with that manually.
It doesn’t currently support OAuth2 for providers like Microsoft, so you’ve gotta use App Passwords with Gmail for now, but there is a fix in the pipeline to add OAuth2 support soon. (there’s also other methods you can use to get that part working right now)
The web/browser app really really sucks on console and JF doesn’t have clients for consoles :/
It’s one of the biggest things keeping me away. Xbone is my primary streaming device, and several of my users use xbone as well.
I’ve always just used Folder Sync + an ssh server, if people are looking for alternatives.
In Canada, I get letters (well emails) when I rawdawg some torrents; but it’s never gone further than that.
Prior to using usenet, I constantly torrented w/o a VPN (talking 10+ TB of data across 3ish years) and received a new email notice or two every other day. I’ve still got a folder with 60+ notices. ISP doesn’t give af, they just forward the copyright notice in the form it was sent to them, and that’s it.
Now though I primarily use usenet and haven’t gotten a notice since. Downloads are also way way more reliable and faster.
I’m kind of on the fence with this one.
As much as I dislike Twitter/X and it’s owner; their ‘crime’ is refusing to silence the political opponents of those currently in power, then further refusing to pay fines for that decision… Decisions, at least in principle, I agree with.
That said: I haven’t actually seen the content that’s at the center of this dispute; the posts of those political opponents. I’m also not very familiar with Brazils politics, so perhaps there’s context I’m missing.
They’ve gotta do something in the face of ballooning expenses…
Do you perhaps have a non-English system language?
Radarr has settings in each quality profile to select a release language, but Sonarr does not… Wondering if it’s tied to system language instead.
I do not see this issue: titles search in English only. (including the example series ‘The Penguin’)
