It’s been decades since the UK was cold and snowy enough for us to be able to build snow forts. Iirc it was possibly as far back as 1989.
Fucking North Atlantic current keeping our climate mild.

Your boss should be talking to their boss

Probably not a lot.
And for the same reason I cant imagine the government would have any problems or issues blocking them altogether. Its not like there’d be an outpouring of support, I imagine you could ask any 10 people on the street if any of them know what 4chan is and you’d draw a blank. Maybe 1 in 20 will know its for dank memes.

So are you saying the UK government doesn’t have the power to block 4chan in the UK?
Interesting.

I’d never leave public sector/government work for lower pay.
If you want job security, flexible working, decent conditions, good pension then (in the UK at least) you work for the government.
If you want good pay then you leave.
Leaving that job security for less money is, imho, absolutely insane.

Every day. I have a dog and a job so staying inside isnt an option

Anything that encourages the sharing of small snippets of information, elevates the prominence of misinformation thanks to engagement algorithms and reduces discourse to simple 3 word responses have caused the most damage.
So facebook/instagram/tiktok/twitter.
Reddit wouldn’t count in my view. It encourages lengthier, more critical responses. Yes its an echo chamber in places but its also pretty easy to avoid toxic content.

Should have given it to Greta, just to really piss TACO

Anything mechanical, even someone in 5000bc would be able to figure out how it works.

Circa 1999, a website where part of it was called “Walken’s World”. A theme park run by Christopher Walken.
Also another site that was pretty much a blog of some guy’s insane sexual escapades that usually involved dwarves

I think im addicted to the smell tbh.

Well fuck.
Although I’ve been using it on and off for 30 years so I’m probably fucked already

In the UK. I’ve found the best treatment has been coal based shampoo. I use T-Gel.
Lather hair with normal shampoo to remove hair gel/dirt/sweat and then rinse and repeat with a small amount of coal based.
Leave it to soak into my scalp for a few minutes before washing off.
3 in 1 shampoo is terrible for yoir scalp.
Tbh it doesnt sound like you have dandruff, more like psoriasis or plain dry scalp.

Positioning our jets in a country on the border of Russia seems careless. They’d be extremely vulnerable during an invasion, drone or missile attack.
Northern Germany would make more sense

Just don’t use LinkedIn. Its so fucking pointless
Depends on the viewpoint.
My brother is a conspiracy theorist, it’s absolutely impossible to talk to him about anything. No matter what evidence you produce, he’ll just ignore it.
The closest I got was when he mentioned the moon landings were faked and filmed on a sound stage. He pointed to the flag flapping “in the wind”.
I asked him why, if NASA had gone to all the trouble and expense of faking the moon landings, would they have installed a giant fan to make the flag flap…
I also won’t have anything to do with anyone who supports the likes of Nigel Farage or Tommy Robinson.
