I absolutely love my adaptive cruise control, I use it all the time. I have a hybrid and it does a much better job of keeping the engine from kicking in than I do. Thankfully with Honda I can use it everywhere not just highways. It’s been my absolute favorite “new” thing to have in a car!

Tech CEOs: Who the fuck cares? I got my ad revenue, I couldn’t care less about society. The shareholders sure seem happy!

I’d be curious to know the relation between that and simply watching the news. Maybe it’s not social media, or screen time, but simply being aware of the state of everything that is linked to anxiety and depression.

Just depression in general. I don’t want to live one lifetime, let alone never being able to die.

If you’re immortal in a body that isn’t broken then that might be a different story, but you’d still grow to love people only to have to lose them and go through that pain over and over.

I was never going to “find myself” and so I should have just gone to college with my friends for computer science and made the good money when jobs were easier to get even though I had no interest at all in it. Hindsight is 20/20 and all that jazz. Now I’m a worthless schmuck in a factory living in someone’s garage paying their mortgage in rent prices.

All my interests are hobbies, some of them even too expensive for me to do lol they’re nothing you can monetize.

I guess if we’re going to keep using war and conflict terms you could say we’re in a cold civil war.

We might as well call schools “sporadic shooting galleries” the way we’ve been treating the issue… It’s absolutely absurd :(

Along those lines, “smartphones” should NOT autocorrect me by default. My phone is the most arrogant asshole on the planet that it thinks it knows what I meant to say more than I do, that and any word that is also a brand automatically gets capitalized…
