Linux@programming.dev•Steam data reveals PC gamers shifting from Windows to Linux
3·5 months agoThe game is also horribly optimized. Are you using open planet? You can install the tweaker plugin and reduce render distance, although this probably only reduces the load on the GPU. For me on steam deck it works fine if the maps aren’t too big, at least I don’t get cpu spikes.

Trump will do anything in the safety of his home if he feels like it benefits him. If it has no negative impact for him, he doesn’t care. That’s why he could start a war with anyone, because he wouldn’t go to the front.

Europe@feddit.org•Barcelona is banning Airbnbs. Other European cities have cracked down already — with some success.English
1·1 year agoWhy would you want to have two homes in the same city? It’s hard enough finding one apartment, if people go around having multiple accommodations, it’s just unfair for everyone else.

1·1 year agoMunich is handling it really well in my opinion. They have rules for homeowners, which are that an apartment cannot be empty for more than 3 months, cannot be used (fully) as an office (of course you can have an office in your apartment) and that the apartment can be used as vacation home for a maximum of 8 weeks per year. I just checked Airbnb again and the offers are sparse.
If Airbnb would be used by renters to offer their home in times where they aren’t there themselves, then it’s a great concept. However capitalism fucked everything over and now it’s just used to generate income by rich people who can afford to buy accommodation.

If they manage to sell 10.000 copies, they will work on “The Other Half” which gives the phone hardware modding capabilities!
