But there’s also the fact that eclipse is maintained by the eclipse foundation. a not for profit, I’m not sure how it works for jetbrains’ CE versions. But I assume they’re still handled by jetbrains itself. shouldn’t matter too much for the open source versions. But there’s my 2¢
