Hello,
I have been gifted a Pixel 6a, and clumsy as I am, I have already dropped it numerous times, or it fell from somewhere I placed it.
I am hoping to find a really good rugged case for the phone, but my go to for previous phones was the Otterbox Defender series, which I couldn’t find for sale anymore. (Old phone, so I can understand that)
Are there any suggestions for reliable and incredibly drop safe cases available for the 6a still? Like, insanely drop safe as somehow I seem to have a bump or fall at least once a day. I’m so lost with all these random brands and have no idea what’s reliable with them. And it really doesn’t matter what it looks like. I’d take silicone wrapped in stone if it kept me from ruining my phone.
Any direction or advice is highly appreciated. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post.
Supcase has an otterbox-like case for most big brand phones (including Pixels) that is also cheaper and better quality than OtterBox.
I usually buy cases from Spigen but that’s just my opinion.
I’ve put a Spigen on every phone I’ve had for the last 10 years. They work great. You have good taste!
I really like dbrand cases. They still stock Pixel 6a cases.
+1 for dbrand cases, awesome. Not their screen protectors though.
Just wanted to say that I shattered my Pixel 6a’s screen a few days ago. I didn’t have a case.
:'(
Will you be getting it repaired? Do you know how much it might be?
From what I found online, just buying the replacement screen will cost upwards of 150$. I bought the phone for 300$, so I’m not very motivated 😅
This is what I’ve used on mine and it’s worked well enough for me. I’m using one on my 8a as well. https://supcase.com/collections/pixel-6-6a-pro-cases/products/google-pixel-6a-unicorn-beetle-pro-sp-rugged-holster-case-black
Another supcase unicorn beetle vote. I used them on my 3a and now on my 7a. Great cases.
