The Trump administration just announced plans to eliminate the long-standing Energy Star program. This was started in 1992 and helps consumers purchase energy-efficient appliances.

It has helped Americans save more than $500 billion since 1992.

    There is a similar sticker but issued by Energy Star instead.

    I’d say it’s more specific than your example. It’s less about “let’s save the planet” and more about “keeping your bills lower”.
