I think that"s more a fault of the meme being overly simplified, nobody thinks Russia is Leftist, but that for its own selfish interests it must work against the US for now. That’s one problem with OP’s memes, many times they are overly simplified and thus get across incorrect messages, which causes agitprop to backfire.
