The way the US, Venezuela situation is playing out, from the operation to the subsequent procedurals, the theatrical production of it all, down to the bizarre US press conference… I lowkey can’t omit the possibility of an orchestrated arrangement between the major players involved.
No US losses, not a single soldier? Not a wall of bodyguards around Maduro? The US has been saber rattling in the Caribbean for 4 months, Venezuela knew their administration was in danger… yet they didn’t have any radars set up to detect air infiltration? All of the equipment shipped in from Russia and China leading up to this moment, no missiles that could’ve taken out those low flying helicopters? They capture Maduro AND his wife? Why his wife, it just seems an unnecessary liability to add to the equation.
Moreover, the photos of Maduro in capture, he didn’t look like a despondent leader who was downgraded to a prisoner. He was smiling giving thumbs up. I get the need to project strength in such a situation but it still feels… off?
The US launched a bandit raid with an armada costing billions, after murdering 100s of civilian fisherman, kidnapped a president, took out his body guard… but what they haven’t taken over Venezuela? Right about now should’ve been when they start parading the turncoats of high up members of the VNZ military claiming they are the new govt. But nope, western media talks about it as if it’s job done. Feels like a psychological operation to make us believe the US hegemony is alive and just as invincible as it’s always been (however knowing that’s not the case as US imperial decline has been evident for quite some time now).
Now whether this is soley just a US psyop or apart of a larger coordination with external players like Maduro/Venezuela and/or world powers that have economic and military means to retaliate against the US is a diff story.
China’s response, considering what they have at stake with trade in Venezuela and Latin America, feels tepid even for them — basically saying China’s interests in VNZ will be defended by law. Really? Granted nothing’s fundamentally changed in VNZ, everything’s operating as it was so no need to respond economically/militarily. But again, given the gravity of the situation, their interests in the region… it seems strange to not send a powerful response and disrupt the US now.
When Trump was asked about China’s response he simply states “no worries, Xi is not going to be a problem…” He could just be talking his usually ish or it’s possible that the US advised the Chinese, “hey, we’re going to do this operation w Venezuela for this reason. Don’t worry, your shipments of oil and contracts will not be disrupted, etc”
Along with this, Maduro and select few of his rank conspire with the US, agree to Maduro being captured and cooperating (“but not without my wife!”), go thru the sham trial proceedings and later released to return to Venezuela in a few years… VNZ’s govt is left intact with VP Delcy Rodriguez in charge. The US will not bring Maria Corina Machado in and VNZ contracts/trade is not to be disrupted. All of this is done under the cover of a US special military op so that they can justify being forced to provide a trade deal more favorable to the US under duress.
Otherwise Maduro’s party, military, citizens could fracture and potentially revolt. Anything less than a deal that grants access to VNZ’s resources via an exchange where the bulk of profits is reinstated back into the country + unadulterated sovereignty to trade with other countries without sanctions/interference is a risk… and Any foreign companies extracting resources would not have a day of peace, the gorilla warfare would be on and bam, Vietnam x2
So… yeah, this is all speculation ofc. It’s highly possible everything is as it appears on the surface and I have my tinfoil hat on too tight. Venezuela did suffer dozens of casualties… but given the alternative of all out US invasion where the deaths would be much higher and trade disrupted, one could see heads of state coordinating for a lesser of two evils outcome.
Regardless, everything seems so bizarre right now.
in 50-years time; the us empire may let these secrets see the light of day like they’re currently doing with the foia and your suspicions will become fact.
however, it likely won’t matter since the previous admissions that we got from other foia did nothing to budge people’s political beliefs despite the us empire freely admitting that they made it all up.
IMO, what’s happening is an understanding between major powers: China can have Taiwan back, Russia can have some/all of Ukraine, and America will pillage and conquer only in it’s regional sphere of influence. It’s better for humanity as these murderous rapists will only go wild in one part of the world and not all of it, but I do feel bad for South America.
It’s all very complicated, they may not disclose their real losses. Just clean up everything and take all the losses with them. They could have used some small drones. If they had complete information about the architecture of the buildings from the inside, then there were serious agents. Which ones are easy for them to find since they have a lot of good Spanish speakers. And besides, they claimed to have used ~152 aircraft, and that’s a lot. This is all speculation too.
That doesn’t really hold water when the Venezuelan government has been reacting extremely unified and in opposition to imperialism, even Venezuelan opposition.
Where meme?
