And to clarify, self promo is ok! My complaint is about the ones who wouldn’t even see this post (or any other post for the matter), much less reply to it. They just take up space and do not give anything of value back. Imo. As the fediverse grows it’s bound to happen, it just pisses me off.

Not inflammatory, but I’ve noticed some new users who come only to do self promotion, without engaging in anyting else in the platform. Mostly in art related comms but also a couple trying to promote a shady website or the like. Even though my account is new I’ve been browsing for a good while and dislike people that are only looking for an audience not a community.

We are building something nice here. ;) It’s very welcoming. For most of my online life I’ve been just a lurker, here I feel like my presence needs to add something of value, even if small.
GrantUsEyes@lemmy.zipto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you see yellow, magenta and cyan the same way as I do?1·25 days agoNot the answer you are looking for, just here to add that CMY are also primary colors. Is just a different palette, that is more suitable for print (with the addition of black [K]) than for painting . Both palettes (cmy and the taditional red, blue, yellow) work the same way (substractive color), in contrast to the rgb palette that is on your example (additive color).
Note that green is a secondary color in the traditional and cmy palettes , resulting from the mix of blue and yellow or cyan and yellow.

Hi Enrique! (°▽°)/
mass produced with no blood sweat and tears anymore.
Obviously not for you… But go look at how the mass production of cheap goods work, like a fast fashion factory for example. And then reconsider your anwer.
That’s a good use for it.
I have a few favorite ones in english (which is not my first language) of the top of my head:
-Document/documented (I particularly like the Q sound of the second syllable and the cadence of the pronunciation)
-Cocoon. (Just great. Satisfying to say. Makes me feel cosy. 10’s across the board)
-Gazebo. (Very removed from the usual sounds of my native language, unusual but fun)
Edited to add:
In spanish: Panóptico (panopticon) also satisfying to sat and with good cadence
I’m an artist. I don’t like AI art, I don’t use Ai in any capacity. Could the tech.be used by the right hands to create a legitimate work of art? Sure . an incredibly select few(Not in a “generate this image” type of way, but I can see how one could make an argument for something conceptual and interesting done with the tech)
But the wider picture is that it will steal work from most of the skilled artist workforce, we are not able to compete whith the scale of ai output; and not everyone is suited for the independent artist life, because it’s fucking hard. Also the visual literacy of the average person will go further down the drain, and It’s already very poor, AI will kill a lot of future potential artists… this is not even touching the effects this technology has in other areas of our lives.
Ai exists to make the average person more stupid, more reliant in the corpos, more isolated in their own bubble. It makes me despair, but also fuels me to keep doing art, even if it is only for myself. I will not let them take the only thing I’m good at away from me.

The Legacy of Bhaal (BG3) https://youtu.be/kbQQAg3IPM8
Lord of Frenzied Flame (Elden Ring SOTE) actually, this whole OST is insanely good. Base game slaps as well
