Please let me know what the good Bourbon brands are, so that I don’t look like a noob next time I order a Manhattan and the bartender asks me what Bourbon I want in it, I just saw Bulleit on the shelf and blurted that out
Bulleit is my go-to for cocktails at a bar. It’s a fine flavor, widely available, and not too expensive. If you’re ordering a cocktail you really don’t need anything too nice because you’re masking/blending the flavor with others. Buffalo Trace is my other go-to for the same reasons there.
Getting a nice bourbon neat, well, that’s usually so expensive at a bar I’ll only get it if the company is paying 😅
Woodford Reserve is my go to. More expensive but I tend to drink bourbon forward cocktails (Manhattan) so I want to taste good bourbon.

I bought a bottle of Rabbit Hole Dareringer before Trump got elected. Very decent stuff. But now I’m boycotting bourbon until America comes to its senses.
